Walking with God means simply that. Walking with God. As a leader I’m faced daily with seeing things in hindsight. And as much as I’m grateful for that, it’s also a curse. Because the goal is not to be pompous with the gift of a hindsight view of things, because I’m aware if put the same situation I can’t be certain I wouldn’t have done the same thing. So it is very important that I lead in with this grace. Jesus crushed the pride and says He is compassionate and His mercies are new every morning Great is his Faithfulness so there’s literally and figuratively nothing I can bring to the table but to learn and grow myself even as I am leading. I’m not the Savior of the day, nor am I better, Jesus is. Jesus allows for reconciliation, humility, submission to God and freedom to ask for forgiveness whether the person has every justification or not. If my justification is found in Jesus then I don’t stand on “my way or the highway”, I stand on Him. Thank You Jesus I got to partake in this beautiful exchange yesterday. Grace to me. Grace to you.
In His Love. Rachel
Psalm 103:8-11
The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him
