As a business owner I am “obligated” to pay my employees. Until they are no longer here. This is not Love. This is exchange. You do something for me and I’ll do something for you. Here at GMS, we linger, work and pray through decisions and pray with people because we Get To. We bring people in not necessarily for what they do but because God created them in His Image. I love to get in on every interview I can so I can meet the people God created, the more, the merrier. And we tend to hold on to them a little longer than the powers that be, like. This tends to get a little messy. The mess though turns into the message because the enemy hates Love. He hates Jesus and anything that has to do with Him. News Flash Satan, everything has to do with Jesus and His Word never returns void. I remember when God revealed that I was to get onboard with His Kingdom Business. I didn’t see how that was feasible in a company full of “greed” – no one able to understand, it is The Grace of God that allows us to be here, to work.  And because I was also greedy, wanting my own way, not wanting to do it here, in this company, I wanted out – I didn’t know God had put me there because of Jesus. I wanted to “refuse and rebel” like He said in Isaiah 1 He said “Rachel Repent, Here, Have Faith. Faith In Me.” I understand now that both repentance and faith are direct gifts from Almighty God Himself.

Even then, I didn’t have a clue how much He would need to give me. Asking Him to strengthen and increase my faith was like asking Him for a death sentence….death to self sentence, except its exactly what He already knew I needed. But no one wants death to self, we want to keep ourselves. We want to bitch, criticize and complain about things in our life as if we are owed. How ludicrous our sinful thinking always is.

The Way of Jesus is this, He was not “obligated” to do anything. He chose. He gave. He willed. He loved. He laid down His rights. He knew we could do nothing. We could not give Him anything in return. He did it anyway. Oh, when I sought The Lord all the day long, His Word always came to Life- where sins abounds GRACE ABOUNDS much much more, He always tells me. Most people naturally do not like the word Grace I realize because it’s humiliating. It professes, He does all the work. So for the doer, like myself, this wrecks their massive pride. I’d say there’s no other news worthy of sharing than The Good News of Jesus Christ. Everything else pales in comparison to His Glory, Unfailing Mercy and Amazing Grace.

The BLUF – COME – knowing You are here by God’s Grace, for a time, because of LOVE. We all should be fired BUT God, Jesus, Keeper of our soul! God owes you and I nothing, He Gave everything when He Gave Himself. Look up and Give thanks! God Is The Provision.

If you are able, Respond as He enables you in 2 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, Pray Continually, Give Thanks In All circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
