We can be raised a Christian our whole life and miss the point of grace… hear the gospel over and over and still miss Jesus
How is this possible? Through the sin nature of our pride, self sufficiency, independence, bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, over bearingness. Knowing the Truth that God fulfilled the law perfectly establishing grace for us (this is not our natural position, but rather supernatural that comes from God), still The depths of sin tarnishes and devours our ability to surrender to Jesus to be set free from guilt, shame and condemnation, judgement and not only that, we, because of our depraved, dead flesh, we naturally and continually put those same things on our loved ones also causing confusion and chaos in our Christian families. But rather God allows His children to walk in The Spirit, following hard after Christ, resting in His example and then He gives us the ability to be set free and supernaturally transformed. Only in Receiving God’s Amazing Grace can we pour it back out onto others (the work that God requires)! By His mercy, we are set free.
