Ohhhh The Intimacy of The Risen King Jesus.

Psalms 73:26
My flesh and my heart fails: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

We are all in the battle of our life right now, and it’s not CoVid-19? So then what is it?? It’s our sinfulness. Yes Lord we have forgotten the One True God, yes Lord you have allowed us to go our own way, after our own desires and there You are still, ever present with open arms saying come to Me and those who Trust in The Lord will be strengthened. But we put our ever present self, and will all of our feeble independent self to try to attain what only God can give, dependence on Him. You say Lord, you resist the proud and give grace to the humble, you say, my belief in The Savior, Jesus Christ, God You will count me Righteous. Why are you so Good Father, how does Your Mercy make me weep! Lord I sit with you and my heart is filling up with Your Presence, You are so intimate with me Lord, it seems like I am the only One You are with, the only one You are holding, the only one You are listening to, the only one You are whispering to. But I know you have no bounds, I know You want this intimacy with all of your beloveds. This gift of Faith, this gift of Love…not only receiving these perfect gifts, because in receiving the gifts, I Receive The Giver. It is all About You. You say where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. You can see my heart, You can see that You have made Yourself my greatest Treasure.

So what about sin, what about CoVid-19, what about cancer… You are clear, death is very real for all of us, but so is Life by The grace of God through Jesus Christ. We have Eternal Life with You forever, instead of eternal death, separated from You forever, and as we lean into our loved ones, The Holy Spirit Moves within us so we weep, You make it clear that it’s by Your amazing grace that they remain here next to us, You make us cry out in Thanksgiving to You for their life, You make us remember that we are just Passing through and so You teach us to number our days so we may gain a heart of Wisdom. The fear of The Lord is the beginning of True Wisdom.
