His Blessed Healing on Christmas Morn. My Jehovah-Rapha

What is the chief end of man? (That is, what is the point of our existence?) Man’s chief end is to Glorify God and to Enjoy Him forever.

Come to Jesus and Enjoy!

Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart.
He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

So I have to share God’s Perfect Love.

Our Christmas traditions took a side step this year due to some new seasons that we get the pleasure of enjoying. Trying to get my daughter to love the idea was less than zero. But hey, I know by God’s Grace she will live! I was just grateful to have my family and dogs in tow wherever we went! 10 days in a massive RV tour bus to Texas, building relationships with our Texas guys and gals that have come into our lives this year. But it’s what God guided us to do and what an answer to prayer! We not only made the journey, it was beyond what I could have asked, thought, or imagined according to God’s Word in Ephesians 3:20-21.

Today, being Christmas morning we had to hustle out of the hotel room to catch our 8am flight to Cabo. My normal quiet time, heart sharing with Jesus that I Love so much was not and I could feel my body suffering because of it. As we made it to the gate, my stomach started hurting and then my back. Oh no Lord please spare me from a kidney infection right now I cried. Grabbing a seat in the airport where I could, head down in pain praying, I knew what it was and I knew what I needed so I turned to Olivia and asked her to please read God’s Word to me. With her beautiful voice, she did. Then I turned towards Gary and he asked “what can I do to help”. I said, “I think I need you to rub my back”. The precious gift of Your healing Father, on Gary to give what he has received is tremendous. It seems bigger than what we can all comprehend fully.
But after Your Word read to me and Garys hand touching my back, out came the infection and drank a few cranberry juices and I was new. Amazing God, Your Word is Life, Your Presence is Essential and Vital to my Living. You delight to reveal Your Glory.

And In You Jesus I realized this wasn’t about me.

It became evident to me early on through the years of our marriage that Gary had the gift of healing. It started with him and plants. We had several that were dead and upon his tending, God would bring them back to life through him. Through the 10 years bout of Grant and his eczema I would douse his body with lotion every night for moisture and most nights wet wrap his body to keep the moisture in. When it got really bad, I would call on Gary to do it and the next morning grant’s skin would be as good as new. I could not believe it, all the nights I would spend to lather him up, nothing would change. But the one night I called for Gary to take over it was a miracle the next morning. Then when Gary spoke out to take the pain and suffering from our son, God graciously answered that prayer by transferring a disease on Gary. Grant’s skin was healed immediately. Gary had to walk through 2 bouts of cancer in a 4 year period and through that, God spoke to me directly Ephesians 3:14-21 and I held on to His promise. Trusting that God would heal Gary on the earth. He has both physically and spiritually. On days Gary still has pain from remnants of the disease he has learned the gift of crying out to Jesus and gets to experience healing on the earth through his dependence on God. Never were we meant to live independently from our Creator and when we do, disaster, deep sorrow, spiritual death and chaos ensues. But because He Is Peace, we have this Gift of Christ. We have The Giver of Life. Our job is to simply believe that what He says and Who He is is True. I know no one receives physical healing forever on this side of heaven. But Spiritual healing, bring it Jesus! You came to save the lost! How can we not Enjoy the Giver once Christ brings us to Saving Faith. Thank You Author and Perfector. We Trust You and see Your Glory in the fabric of our lives by Your Goodness, Mercy, and Grace to us. In Jesus Name.

Psalms 34:6 In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened;
he saved me from all my troubles.

Psalms 145:13
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.

Psalms 145:14
The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.

Psalms 145:15-16
The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

Come and enjoy!
