You are a child of God and when God calls you, your life is no longer yours, your life is completely Christ’s. Being saved is the gift you have been given but it’s not enough…Lord needs to be given the position He deserves. On the complete opposite of of one may think as lazy or flighty, you still hold on to your capabilities, the control of wanting to do excellent whatever you set your mind to… but God says let go of everything and let me work through you in ways that you’ve never known. Laying down your life for the sake of Christ’s. Even when the things God leads you to aren’t seemingly possible- they are! You have just decided what you think best and still you are The Lord of your life, Not The Lord. Success is about faithfulness, not results.
If God lays on your heart something for Him, your job is to be faithful, delayed obedience is disobedience- His job is to fulfill His purposes by His results. They aren’t your results but His.
