The God of Agains

God is a God of agains..

Whatever it is that you’re tired of, the same mistrust, the same anger, the same affair, the same whatever sin, maybe your tired of yourself, your way. Come to Him all who are weary and heavy laden and He will give you rest.  Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

God is faithful to those cries, he is EL Roi and He sees. He will give you grace, the overabundant overflowing portion necessary for His child.

His Ever Presence filled the room and I could feel The Sadness welling up. Its gonna happen again my heart groaned.
My daughter laying with me on the couch with her innocent face and says dont cry mom.
Just her recognizing I would cry, I could feel the urge but I resisted. Sweetie it’s ok i cant often control my tears . I reminded her again, my tears aren’t coming out of sadness for my self but rather for the brokenness of this world and the sin that continues to entangle the graceless. Before I became a true follower of Christ, I hardly ever cried. My heart was hard and my personality and countenance were stoic. “I know”, she says “because you played sports and no one cries in sports.” I chuckled to that statement surely if not, there needs to be more crying in baseball.

The heart of Christ weeps, the heart of God laments. The heart of God understands the brokenness of this world, though the devil prowls and seeks to devour, God offers forgiveness to all those who will turn from their wicked ways, repent and humbly come before the throne room of grace to receive mercy in your time of need.

Psalm 107 reveals a theme of crying to The Lord

I cried to The Lord
He delivers me
I cried to The Lord
He saved me
I cried to The Lord
He sent His Word and healed me.
I cried to The Lord
He brings me out of my distress

Everytime. There is no shortage of God’s unrelenting mercy and amazing Grace towards the children who cry out to Him.

It is because of Him alone, I give thanks!
In Him I cry, Abba Father.

Love, Your Daughter
