There is nothing fair about the Christian life…. we didn’t become a Christian because God was fair, nor did Jesus Christ die out of fairness.
Once we understand that mercy, then we are set free from hopelessness and despair

James 1:2-4 “Being a follower of Jesus, we will endure trials of many kinds.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
