Is Jesus still hanging on the cross in vain because you, Christian are living in sin?

Lord Jesus lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Lord by Your Power help us reject the lies of the enemy. And when we are tempted remind us of our Savior that bled and died for us, Your resurrection proves that death and defeat was conquered and by Your Name we are victorious in Christ. O Death where is your power o death where is your sting.
Everyday we wake up by His glorious mercy and grace only to reject and dishonor His Name because we think life is found in something other than Jesus Christ. It is the greatest misery, the dead and sin-filled hearts of man. We have so easily and so quickly forgotten all that God has done, confession and repentance are callous and we are not compelled, we cannot see the damage sin has done and is doing. “And with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would save them. For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, in order that judgement will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
