Merciful Father, we know Grace is a hard word to understand, we are such doers how can grace be real? Lord help us in our depraved thoughts, our cowardice and weakness!
Let me share a blip of transforming by the renewing of my mind God has given me on The Truth of God’s Amazing grace.
This verse Roman’s 5:8 is perhaps the pinnacle, and the depth to which this Truth has been received and believed, is the depth of Life in which one will Live here. I am praying this Truth will be made fully manifest through The grace of God in the hearts of all men, Christian’s and not and I believe with all my heart, mind, soul and strength that with God all things all possible. And when that illumination comes about that we would be able then to Live In The Light of Jesus Christ and behold Him, and not behold our-self, which is death.
This is POWERFul Truth and amazing grace.
“But God shows His Love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us, for you, for me.” You can not disciple nor teach a more profound verse especially in the depraved, spiritually poor and sick times we live in today.. Because until one receives this Amazing grace through The Lord Jesus Christ, No grace (zero, zilch, nada) can be given by man.
In preparing for a camp where I will counsel middle schoolers the theme is D3 (decisions, determine, destiny) and if I’m not rooted In Christ, my teaching will lean naturally on what these kids must decide to do, in order to determine their destiny. But is that biblical? It is, but our natural minds are so flawed and bent towards legalistic doing according to the world, I need God’s grace to intercede according to The Word. Decisions according to Jesus aren’t a matter of doing as we naturally think but a matter of surrendering, they are not a list of here’s what I need to do to follow Christ. Decisions are believing that this life is not my own, but by God’s grace I heard the Word, by God’s grace someone is teaching me God’s Word, I am a sinner and I need a Savior to take my life and let it be all for Him and for His glory. The greatest act, or work of the Christian Faith is that of humble surrender, rejecting yourself (dying to yourself and rejecting your desires daily), it is the work of confession, repentance and contentment and the receiving of the fruit of patience. In that, God fills us with Himself which bear these fruits, Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self control. But without God’s Divine, Super-Natural illumination and our daily continual remembrance of Roman’s 5:8 our flesh will undoubtedly battle against The Holy Spirit and we will be exhausted and confused. I am praying God allow the responses of Your children respect Who You are, The Giver of Life. Because we are so depraved we believe in our-self, that it’s my decision that will determine my destiny… that friends, is foolishness at its core if we remember we are saved from The wrath of God, how can I sin against My Lord and Savior.
“Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not out of regret or compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
