He answered, “It isn’t right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” “Yes, Lord,” she said, “yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus replied to her, “Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want.” And from that moment her daughter was healed. Matthew 15:26-28 She had such a resolute faith that she must have what she sought, and she would not go away without it.
“Taking the case of the woman as a whole, I think it must have been her pertinacity, her firmness, that surprised The Lord. Others are easily put off, but she would not be put off. Others need encouragement, but she encouraged herself. When the door is shut in her face, she only knocks at it.” Spurgeon
Dancing with Jesus.
I was in my kitchen cooking breakfast listening to worship music and I had a beautiful thought come into my heart and head, I started fantasizing that Gary would dance with me In The Lord. What a glorious thought that was but not my reality, not now. I am so grateful for God’s Love towards me, to remain soft towards my husband – it is a gift from God, an act of His Forgiveness by His Amazing Grace. But what God did in response to me fantasizing about me dancing with my husband is He whispered “Dance with Me, I’m here.” Absolute Joyfilled contentment filled my heart. It’s good to dream coming together with your spouse – It is the gift of God on the earth to unite us In His Spirit, this is a Miracle – but God also has Great Compassion towards His people in this broken world and the brokenness in man. And since we aren’t the fixers, He sent Himself. So in that precious moment, while I was cooking breakfast, I stopped to dance with My Beloved, The Lover of My Soul, My Creator, My God Who was crucified and resurrected to Give me Life. The most Joyous of Life is found In Him. And Him Alone.
Jesus thank You for dancing with me and for knowing my hearts desire.
“But you are a Chosen Race, A Royal Priesthood, A Holy Nation, God’s Special Possession, that you may Declare The Praises of Him Who called you out of darkness into His Wonderful Light.” 1 Peter 2:9

Dancing with God is something He delights in with His Beloveds. “David was dancing with all His might before The Lord wearing a linen ephod. As The Ark of The Lord was entering The City of David, Saul’s daughter Michal (also David’s wife) looked down from the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before The Lord, and she despised him in her heart. When David returned home to bless his household, Saul’s daughter Michal (David’s wife) came out to meet him. ‘How The King of Israel honored himself today!’ She said. ‘He exposed himself today in the sight of slave girls of his subjects like a vulgar person would expose himself.’ Then David replied to Michal, ‘It was before The Lord Who Chose me over your Father and his whole family to appoint me ruler over The Lord’s people Israel. I will dance before The Lord, and I will dishonor myself and humble myself even more. And Michal had no child to the day of her death.'” 2 Samuel 6: 14,16, 20-21, 23
The simplicity God gives to submit my life to God is delightful and brings healing to my bones. To Trust and Obey My Savior, The Giver of Life takes my opinions and guesswork out of it and fills me with His Peace, His Joy and Confident Blessed Assurance.
Have you ever danced with Jesus? Not just danced by yourself in your kitchen, but with Jesus?
I’d love to hear how The Lord brought you to that Joyfilled Place.
Grace and Peace to You. Rachel
