Pride, over the last 17 yrs as The Lord pulled back all the dark, cancerous layers of my pride, it became very clear and disgusting to me.  When I would sit with The Lord wanting to run, God would always whisper repeatedly – don’t make this about you.  Thank God for this sanctifying work He has and will continue to do In me. He is Amazing Grace. His Glorious Treasure has caused me to see the depths of sin and despair caused by my pride and the pride of life. The temptation to want or try to make everything to be about me.  Can I get an Amen.

My daughter uses another term lately in her vocab to me.  Glazing.  Here’s 1828 Webster’s definition:

GLA’ZING, ppr.  Furnishing with window glass.

1.  Crusting with a vitreous substance, as potter’s ware.

2.  Giving a smooth, glossy, shining surface, as to cloth.

GLA’ZING, n.  The vitreous substance with which potter’s ware is incrusted.

Recently I just saw another disgusting form of it glazing/ a form of pride, from Paula White. I’m sure her statements on Good Friday made many want to hurl chunks – if you seek to make The Bible about you or others, many will be deceived (which happens all the time).  That’s Satan’s greatest weapon, and he did the same thing. He made everything about him.

BUT if by God’s Grace to you, God makes it clear that it’s all about Jesus -The Author…only then is Truth proclaimed.

Lord have mercy 🙏 

Jesus paid it all, not you. We are simply God’s mold in The Potter’s hand.
